Martin Pot (geboren 1950) studeerde af aan de Technische School voor de Meubilerings- en Houtbedrijven in Rotterdam en in 1982 aan de Willem de Kooning Academie voor Beeldende Kunsten in Rotterdam, afd. Interieur- architectuur &N Ruimtelijke Vormgeving. Hij heeft in 2011 voorbereidend PhD.-onderzoek aan de Erasmus Academie Rotterdam afgerond; gericht op de relatie wonen - technologie - architectuur..

Martin heeft gewerkt op verschillende architectenbureau' s en zelfstandig als interieurarchitect, meubelontwerper, grafisch vormgever en ontwerper van toneelbeelden en decors, interviewt en schrijft voor diverse media artikelen over de ontwikkelingen en stand van zaken m.b.t. het vakgebied.

Aangesloten bij Council, een multidisciplinaire 'denktank' voor the Internet of Things en the Internet of People.

Martin Pot (born 1950) finished Technical School in Rotterdam and in 1982 the Willem de Kooning Academy of Arts in Rotterdam, section Interior Architecture.
He worked for several years at architectural offices and currently as independent interior-architect, designer and researcher. He writes articles on his profession, does interviews, writes book-reviews and in 2011 finished preliminary doctoral research at Erasmus Academy Rotterdam; focused on the relation dwelling - technology - architecture.
He is connected to Council, the multi-disciplinary international think-tank for the Internet of Things, the consultancy-group Internet of People and moderates the LinkedIn-group Hybrid Living.
