Uit de folder van Ad!dict Creative Lab: "the ´universal house?´ project is questioning our needs. longings, the difference between north and south, between east and west - traditions and lifestyles - western consumerism and the westernization phenomenon of the south and the east, poverty of developing countries and basic needs. It is about a challenge to build a house where every objects reflects and keeps its own identity, its own memory (countering marketing-oriented design multinationals), where function follows the real needs and not the artificial ones, where form is rethought according to diversity, durability, eco-compatibility. In other words, an exercise of over-reflection instead of over-production, challenging 40 (and more) planners of over 20 different nationalities."
